Spot gloss business cards have subtle high gloss elements printed on low sheen coated 16pt card stock.  With any movement the shimmering gloss highlights catch light and contrast against the low lustre card stock so your business card never goes unnoticed.

Unlike a flood UV gloss where we cover the entire card with this coating, spot gloss also known as spot UV or spot varnish is applied on designated areas of your card. Spot gloss is a great way to feature specific elements of your designs or to overlay a unique pattern on top of printed elements. 

Spot gloss business cards are printed with soy inks in full color on thick 16 point coated stock for a substantial stiffness on an offset press utilizing stochastic screen technology for high-quality photographic reproduction of your designs. In the final step, the UV spot gloss layer is carefully applied to the desired areas on your business cards.
